How To Stop Being Quiet - Learn how to lose your fear of talking to people

Let me tell you one thing right away: Your shyness is not your personality. It takes a combination of special elements in a situation to make you act shy. Think for yourself: Aren't there persons around whom you are perfectly natural and confident? It could be your family, your friends, your sister or anyone else. So shyness can't be a part of your personality, right? But once you are around people that you do not know so well you start acting shy.

Now, how can you get as confident and natural with strangers as you are with your family?

So here is the first method how to stop being quiet: It is called gradual exposure and i took it from www.LoseYourShyness.info

At first it feels strange and intimidating to be around a person who is a stranger to you. But this stranger may become a close friend if you hang around him or her several times. The more you do it, the easier it will get and your shyness will disappear more and more. And the less shy you feel, the easier it will get to make conversation. Let me tell you one thing: Making conversation is not a talent, it is a skill that everyone can learn. You just have to start doing it and you will get better and better.

This is how I started out. Then I continued with other methods that helped me to have fun and be talkative in any social situation. You can read more about my journey to confidence and how to stop being shy and quiet by clicking here.
